I and my fish this lake pretty often and usually catch a couple of largemouths but dinks. After trollin a little we decided to work the bank and it was going good just was using a j hook with a brown stickworm on the end and caught two dinks and then I thought well its getting a little dark Ill make some noise. I took out my yellow eyed black jitterbug (works great) and buzzed it on the top a few times infront if a cat tail patch then like I was taught I casted back in there and sure enough biggest hit Ive gotten since I started bass fishing. ( And Im 16 I started bass fishing just last year) And I fought this fish for about 10 minutes she ran from one side of the boat to the other to the deep then back to the cattail and when I got her up I was shocked. She was bout 7 1/2 pounder 21 inches long. This was the last bass trip me and rick took out on the boat cause hes movin away. But I got the boat and all the gear so Ill be back out soon!
