Arrived at 0730 and water level basically the same as all year. Foggy til 0900 and overcast the rest of the day, but the kokes were biting. Released four spawners, lost four near the boat, and took five home that had very slight coloring. Guess another week left to find some that haven't changed much. The bite was scattered over most of the lake and had to hunt them down one at a time. Average strike depth was 13 to 20 feet in water over 35 feet deep. Majority were 12 inches and still dancing on their tails.
Only two weeks left before this lake is closed for the season. There are two Clear Lakes near each other - this one is by Kapowsin and Ohop. Thanks again Toni for teaching us, through your reports, how to fish for kokes .
