I started fishing about 8:50 and by 9:26 I had caught 4 fish, 4 fish in 20 minutes. 2 were spawners so I let them go. I thought it was going to be great but that did not pan out. I went straight out north of the WDFW launch. That was it! I got a couple of bites but nothing stuck. I went trolling several areas and switched up rigs but could not get anything.
I caught the fish on Yellow and Orange stuff again. One rod I put about 2/3 oz of weight on and then the other was on the downrigger 13-18 feet down. The air temperate was cold but not freezing yet and the cloud cover was thick but not foggy. It was clearing off when I left about 11am.
Those 2 that I let go were spawners but man did they fight!
