This is a multiday report. Got to potholes on fri nite and stayed until mon afternoon. Hit the dam on sat morning with the wife and kid. Had good action for small mouth about 1lb. I dropped off the family at noon and fished some more. Decided to walleye and troll so i could eat lunch and relax, trolled north west of the state launch by the spillway and hit a walleye on a bottom walker there 16 inch 2lb. Then hit the dam in the afternoon to finish off my bass limit broke off on 2 bass but pulled in one 4 lb smallie. On sunday the family headed out and we were in it 10 1-2 lb smallies 2 4lb lmb and2 4lb smallies. My five year old reeledin one of the 4lb lmb and was just as proud as can be. When i was cleaning the fish I found my jig from a break off in one of the lmb the day before, kinda cool to know he got me but i got him. Great trip. Mardon is still the same but the skeeters are bad this year..Great trip overall for weekend 30 bass keepers and 1 walleye. Dock fishing sucked FYI.
