Hit Liberty with Pat for a few hours Wednesday evening & ended up doing quite well. We started out catching some dink smallmouth. After changing spots & tactics I ended up nailing a nice 2 lb 9 oz LMB that hit my worm after I casted it on the far side of a dock, all I could see was it splashing on the otherside. After turning the boat around & in towards the dock I was able to hop in the shallows & land him. A few minutes later I nailed a really nice 6 lb 1 oz LMB. It was getting dark so I decided to try for a little topwater action. A dozen casts later my Zara Spook got inhaled by a 3 lb 4oz Smallmouth. It turned out to be a good evening for sure.
