Only acted as a guide today. Took a 13 year old out to help him catch his first Trout off of this lake. Started at 8:30 AM fished until 10:30 AM. Water Temp was at 60 Degree's. Used an Uncle Wes's with a Black Blade and Green Beads. Had on on within 5 minute's a little cutthroat about 10 inche's. With his first fish in the boat confidence was high. About 10 minute's later hooked into another, lost it at the boat. Then the wind started up, shortly after that he landed his second one, a nice 12 incher. By now the wind is really starting to blow and getting more difficult to stay in the trolling pattern. Now he's got his third one one and it really gives him a scrap before we put the net on him, another nice rainbow, this one measured at about 14 inches. Now the wind is blowing pretty good and we decide to call it a day. Needless to say my young friend was quite pleased with his catch for the day. Although he missed several strike's, his skill is getting better, and he is looking forward to his next Sunday outing.
