My parents took some friends out for a boat ride this afternoon so I figured they could leave me behind at our boat dock so I could get some fishing time in. I flipped senkos under docks and pulled out a few overly fat perch (looks like all the fish are feeding up for winter, every fish, every species I've caught recently has been fat and throwing up some sort of silver minnow). Had to wait for awhile to get another bite but then I flipped my senko under a shady dock and I saw my line freaking out so I set the hook thinking I just lost another senko on a perch but then I realized what I actually had on. After a good fight I flipped this guy out of the water. I estimate he was 1 1/2-2 pounds.I always have trouble telling with LMs. I've caught bigger LMs around this dock but it was enough to make me happy for the day.
