I havent taken the boat out in about a month now. I couldnt take it anymore so I originally planned on going out on the water this morning. Instead, woke up to the rain and decided to sleep in.

By about 4PM, the weather has been pretty nice, so I decided to make a run on the lake for a couple of hrs. I wasn't able to get onto the water until a little after 5.

I was originally the only trailer when I pulled into the lot. As soon as I backed the trailer into the water, another person shows up, lol.

Anyways started fishing with my favorite crankbait. I need a new one btw. An eye has popped off. The nose is all scratched and chipped up from bouncing off rocks and docks. There's also a gash/crack on top of it's head too. Still catches fish though.

I buzz to a spot I don't usually fish. 1st cast, fish on!!! LOL but it's only a small one. Looked about an 8" SMB that I let shake off at boat side.

Alternate with a plastic worm and crank. Caught 2 more SMB with the worm. 1 about 10" and the other was 12". Caught a small perch with the crank. Had a few small nibbles on the worm from small fishies.

Water temp is at 73 degrees and breezy until about 7PM. The wind died down by then.

I don't know where all the big fishies are now. Can't seem to locate them or get them to bite. See lots of surface activity from either small trouts or koks. I spotted schools of fish suspending 25' down in 30' of water. Guessing they are trouts or koks though and not bass.

Most of the fish today caught around pads.
