Last couple times here I didn't do so well, and didn't bother to report...not today. C&R'd around 15 bass, and got 2 nice ones. One was a bit over 5 pounds, the other about 4 pounds. Throw in six more between 2 and 3 pounds and some dinks...and I call that a pretty good day of bassin. Used mostly weedless hand-poured plastics, but did get a couple 2 pounders working a moss boss around the pads. Good times are here again...

Are you running those weedless plastics weightless?

Nice fish, got more size than me when I went there, stuck with the frog due to the intense weeds. I heard there was a weed-kill there recently, how is the lake looking now? I had to row last time.

Yes, I pretty much always go weightless at that lake. Right in the pockets/inside edges of largest clumps of the brown crap weed is where I got the bigger ones. Chuck it in the holes, let it sit, maybe a little twitch...mostly I try not to work it to much at all. Good luck.

Still thick...I rowed too, as I usually do there.
