Quick question. You catching your smallies shallow or deep? I've been draggin 15 to 25 feet of water for mine, but hooking alot of stumps too. Would like to fish shallow if they're there. By the way, I always catch and release.

rickyd..got most of mine in deep water. Off the edge of the big flat between Tacoma Point and what a lot of us musky guys call Landscapers Point...using deep diving crank baits. I was on the top side about 8 feet, casting out into 40 feet of water hooking up between 15-20 feet down. Also got a couple off of Driftwood Point right around the weed beds. They were whacking my Ducktail spinner pretty feircely. Those fish were smaller 10" or less. But fun none-the-less. Bankbasser..were you one of the 2 guys out on the point at North Tapps Park on Saturday? Shudda hollered at me..I would've taken you out there..wait though..you bank guys aren't used to boats are ya? Can't stand still, bouncin' around in the boat, always telling made up b.s. stories and can never ever shut up.! Maybe you should do a seminar? Wait that does qualify you for seminars..
