Spent a couple hours climbing around the shore and fishing Lake Bryant on Thursday morning. You get soaked with early morning dew in the trails around there, but the fishing can be pretty good. I C&R'd 6 bass...1 dink and the rest 1 to 1.5 lbs...in the time I was there. The weeds are getting thick, but quite a bit of water is fishable from shore if you're willing to work for it. I tossed a black worm, working it slow out deep - because the water right at shore is very shollow and weed choked. Fun time, pretty consistant action & spunky fish!

I've fished that l little lake a couple of times years ago -- carried a canoe through the brush from the hiway. Caught a few small largemouth bass -- fun lake from a canoe.

Bob, the trail and parking is easier now that the Centennial Trail passes the lake...but it's still and 50 yard carry. Take care.
