Headed to Coulon today for some carp. Nothing, then my friend and I went for bass around 7:30, caught some on senkos but dinks. Right when it was around 8:30 we fished topwater and got so many hits. We wondered why we weren't getting any hook ups until we found out they were small rock bass hitting our lures. Every cast we had a hit. Fun to see the fish hit top water. My friend managed to land one small one by accidentaly snagging it. Lures used: Matzuo popper, Heddon Zara Puppy.
