I just changed my user name to my actual name (previously dresscode5). Today was awesome! I hit WAWA with about 30 minutes to fish before work. I spent most of the time looking for places I could cast through the brush. I found a rocky point with all kinds of cover under the water. I made 6 casts and landed 6 fish. The majority of them were inbetween 1-2 pounds but I got one that might tip the scale just over 3 pounds. That fish was mad!!! It never gave up. I fought it for a minute and a half then when I went to lip her, she splashed water all over me and took line another 2 times. I was thinking it was probably a 5 pounder but no :/ I made a few more casts and got 1 more dink. That was easily the most exciting 30 minutes of fishing I've done in Washington state. I went back after work and got 1 more dink after fishing for an hour. I must have got into a school of hungry smallies. I havn't really seen smallies school but it sure seems that way. All fish were caught on a deep diving rapala crawfish. The fish seemed like they were in 8' of water.
