Spen 4 days at Twin Lakes this past week. There are pike in these lakes but they are defenitely not overly abundant. I managed 1 on two diffrent days, 3 on another and none on the last day of th trip. Nothing big but they do seem to be good fighting fish when you find them. Water temps were in the mid 70's so they may have been hanging out in deeper water. I tried them there but couldn't manage to get bit. I did get one while crappie fishing in 11 feet of water. The crappies and be found hanging out in any cabbage bed you find in 10 feet of water. There seem to be plenty of them to be had. Cabbage is hard to find though. It isn't breaking the surface in the deeper water. You have to stubble on it when there is no wind blowing. I marked beds as a waypoint and went back later and found the crappies easy to find. I couldn't get the big fella in the photo on the right to bite. Good thing, I may have had more than the ol baitcasster could handle. Happy Fishing.
