Crayfish from Washington Lake. Signal Crayfish.Fresh water lobster. Very good day of fishing. To cook them we used old recipe:
Boiling water
Salt- as needed
Beer - usually one bottle of beer per 0.5 US Gall.
Shrimp&Crab Boil- as needed. And we're buying it QFC store.
Time to boil them - 15 min. or more, it depends. Old guys say - it's ready when it floats and it's Red ...
Good luck to all.
Fishing is the greatest thing on this Planet.

That's exactly what I've been after...just need a few pounds to get my wife hooked on catching and cooking them. Any suggestions? I realize there may not be as many as LA or IA, but I've heard there is a lot in WA. I've yet to find the lake, stream, or river that produces more than 2 or 3. I can almost taste 'em and I'm envious. Great job
