Sullivan has got to be one of the neatest lakes to fish in the state. Big, quiet, and beautiful. Fished from 8A.M. to 2:00P.M. Trolling off downriggers about 45ft. deep. Caught 23 Kokanee on spinners with the gold w/red head needle fish the most successful lure used. Again the 50/50 Dick Nite worked, as well, but the needle fish was the real killer. No bait used at all. My son and grandson joined me on this expedition, and we let the little guy wear out his arms reeling them in! Not much size, but they sure smoke up well, and eat better! Most of the fish were caught trolling in 80-90 ft. of water going from the first rock point on the right side of the lake at the south boat launch and working north about a mile down that side. Trolling at about 1.5-1.8 mph. Lots of action for the first 3 hours then things slowed down. Try it, you'll like it!
