Spent from about 8:00A.M-11:00A.M on the lake mainly fishing off/along the point directly opposite the boat launch. I was trolling 50/50 Dick Nite, gold w/red head needle fish, and a couple other lures. The 50/50 Dick nite caught the 3 kokanee that we came back with. I caught those fish on leaded line at about 3 1/2 colors deep. Using 1 and1/2 oz. trolling sinkers with spinners didn't cut it. It was calm, clear, and getting warm when we left. Nice morning to fish over fish suspended at about 30-50 feet deep. Beautiful lake worth the drive, but have a depth sounder to locate fish because it is a fairly big, deep lake. Nice lake to explore, and the fish are catchable, but I think you need to learn the lake a bit and put in your time to be real successful. I am not there yet.
