My son and daughter went to Baker with me for a day of fun with the old man. We got to the dam launch about 4:40am and didn't get into the water until 5:45am. Wow, think camping will be the way to go next time.
Anyway, we went across from Swift creek to Noisy creek with the flotilla running back and forth in that area. All lines were on downriggers set at 30'. I had a pink mini squid with a smile blade on mine and the others had smileblade in pink. All had 3/0 red hooks and tipped with sandshrimp.
Our first hit came about 8:00 when my pole went nuts. It put on quite a diisplay of jumps but lost it at the boat just as the net came out. The next hit came at 10:00 when my daughter's pole went down. Just as we were getting her's in the boat mine went off again with another jumper. This one we got into the boat.
The last one hit 30 minutes later on my son's pole. All were about 7 to 8 pounds and provided plenty of fun. This was the first salmon for my daughter and my son's second. I think I won't have any problem getting them to go with me again. :)

We decided to call it a day shortly after as we were all baking from the sun. It was a great day with the kids and hope to do it again soon.
