Got an earlier start today than last time. On the water about 4:30 (there were actually parking spots available at Panorama Point at 4 AM). Gear in the water about 20 min later, but it was much slower action than on Sunday. My buddy had 2 fish to my none at 6:30, and he must have felt bad because he let me have one of his secret rigs.....some sort of double red hook thing with beads. I added a little piece -o- shrimp, and by 8:30 I had caught up to him. At 9:20, he lets #3 off the hook just out of net range, about 9:45 I get #3 on a kokanee wiggle hoochie with bigger hooks....and that was it for the day. The early fish were at about 15 feet, with the later ones caught between 25 and 30 feet.
The fish checker said we had an above average day at 5 of 6 in the boat.
On the way out we passed a hatchery tanker headed up so, maybe they got the fish trap fixed.
