So how was the launch end of the lake as far as logs piled up along the shoreline. Could you launch? Recently there had been 100's of trees up against the shoreline, unable to launch.

7/29/2011 7:37:00 AMConcert? :) That lake needs more access points. The road goes all along it but everybody has to fish and launch at the same spot. One time my buddy and I hiked down a trail half way down the lake and caught a couple trips. It sure is scenic up there.

8/4/2011 10:53:00 AMThere were a lot of tents around the launch, but not too many trees. You had to walk through the middle of a campsite to get a boat to the lauch, you couldn't back-up a truck to the water so anything too heavy to carry would have been useless.
Part of me agrees that the lake needs more access points, but part of me is glad it doesn't. I do wish there were a couple easy trails on either side of the lake to get to the water.
p.s. the water was very high.
