Had three opportunities to get out on this nice little lake this month. I'd go in the late afternoon and fish 'til dusk. I fly fished a #10 yellow deer hair pattern for Bluegill. That seemed to work best for me. Hooked and released at least a dozen each trip and occasionally I'd get small bonus Bass.
The boat launch is a little shallow for bigger boats on trailers, but is excellent for smaller craft and tubers. Parking is good sized and pot-a-pots on hand
It's also tree'd in enough so there is usually an area not effected by wind. There some bank fishing access on the west shore if high lake levels haven't flooded the trail. Barring that you'll need flotation.
Wet lines and,
Good day
