Sight fished the weedmats and shallows for bass today. I caught 14 bass and 12 inch PERCH!!! The bass were all about 1 1/2-3 pound and 2 of them were around 4 pounds. I caught the 2 big ones and 6 other ones on rapala skitter pop, 2 more on a black terminator buzzbait, and the other 4 on a shallow diving Matzuo perch colored crank bait. The bass were all caught in about 4 feet of water and were seen swimming in schools about a foot under the surface.
