I stopped at little ash, ash, wind river, drano and tunnel saturday morning on my way east and despite the rain and wind I was able to finally find A fish... it was a small 7 inch largemouth bass on a three inch weighted tube from the bank. This was the only fish in two and a half hours of fishing all of the above areas. Not sure if the cold front shut fishing down or if there are not largemouth and smallmouth fisheries in this area... I see alot of pictures of smallies on some of the other lakes just havent found them. Any tips?

You haven't been participating in the fishing forums. Do that as there are great threads on where, how, when, and what to do to find Bass.

I love fishing those little lakes that are connected to the huge reservoirs of the Columbia River and have caught bass from nearly all of them. My biggest fish was a very nice 8-4 largemouth. My biggest from Tunnel Lake was 3-6. Check out my article in this sites article section titled "Small lake fishing for Columbia River bass." It could help a little. Tight lines. Bob J.
