I arrived at the lake close to 7:20am and there were only 3 rigs in the parking lot. As I am starting to get the boat ready, 2 men come in to leave. They were unsuccessful getting their quarry...trout. I think to myself “one day I might have that happen to me too. I may not be able to coerce kokanee onto my line.” Well that wasn’t today! 5 fish in 50 minutes. Lost 3 had 3 or 4 bites that didn’t stick. All in all a good hour of catching before work.

It was cloudy when I got there but then the sun popped out for the rest of the time I was there. The air was calm. I used the Les Davis 0/0 Herring dodger with Wannafish A Lure Bloody Mary at 15 foot and a double sling blade green and then a yellow (I don’t know the official names) with Wannafish A Lure’s new item Green Ice at 25 feet. I trolled in 35 to 55 feet of water on the west end of the lake. I had 3 doubles but only 1 that I got the 2 fish in. I used corn and Berkeley maggots.
