Our Grimes specialist, Jeff, took Randy and Spencer (12) Davis of Shawana to Grimes for some Lahontan catching. They had a nice day with 42 fish between them. They were using chronomids and Pheasant Tail nymphs. The bigger fish were around 25".

What a great day!

Argh! I forgot about Grimes Lake and was planning to go there early in the season. :-( Those are some beauties, way to go guys!

Hey Anton, if things cool down at Grimes in the next couple of weeks, please post a report, I'm coming from Vancouver WA and it's a long way to go to get skunked! Heck I can do that in my local lakes for a whole lot less money! lol

Many moons ago my dad and I fished Grimes for a couple of days...the first day they were nailing anything on it that had a little whie...streamers with a white wing casing, etc...that night I tied up the ugliest white "leach" pattern I could, and you wouldnt believe how hot it was.

Great job on some beautiful fish guys...gj!
