Headed to Loon after reading the silvers were on the bite. My buddy and I headed for our secret spot. It is secret alright the fish couldn't even find it. About 10:00pm they finaly showed up. We ended up with 16 fish from 10 tp 14". All fish came on glow deamon jigs with green heads tipped with white corn in about 31' of water. Didn't get pics but I wantet to post a pic of the rainbow my wife got there last year. It was 8 1/2 lbs. She got it on the ultra light rigs we us for silvers and I told he she had the ancore rope. She stayed with it and finaly beat it.

NO it's a rainbow. It's not uncommon for planter rainbow to have those red slashes. I think it's a hybrid they raise in the hatcherys so they won't reproduce but I'm not sure of that ,does anyone know for sure? It's not a cutbow either they have the red on their bellies like a cutthroat.
