Today was different for me as I got to ride in a bigger boat with people I met today, JR and Justin, Nice boat and nice people. It is nice to have room to stand up and move around. Catching was not as good as it has been. We had to move around a lot to find the fish. I used the 50/50 combo at first and got nothing so I changed to ¼ oz egg sinker above the 0/0 herring dodger with a Wannafish A Lure Bloody Mary free lined a long way behind the boat. I got a feisty fish and it wrapped the hooks and it broke the leader so I put one on that I hadn’t used before and let it out and got a fish. That is the lure I finished the day with. We used all different kinds of scents as the day worn on. We put Berkeley maggots and corn on for bait. Our speed was mostly 1.2 mph. We fished from 6-10am. I saw Racer and Kokanee_slayer out on the lake and they got their limits. We didn’t get a boat limit. ;-( But the sun was out with hardly any wind. Thank you JR for the sunscreen.

Good job Toni!!!!! I sent you a message.

Maybe we can get together and you can school me on the finer points of kokanee fishing.
