Hit Kitsap around 7am. Wanted to test out the new fishfinder before the weekend. Flipped jigs and senkos to docks and fallen logs. No luck there so I switched to the dropshot around sunken logs and weedlines. Saw one and spooked it so I returned to the same spot later. Sure enough I nailed this 6lb, 3 oz pig around 11am off of a log pile in about 7 feet of water, first 2011 fish on the dropshot, and PB Largemouth to boot! She ran me all over, as I prayed the hook would hold. Missed her in the net, she ran under the boat, boy was it a circus! Anyhow, that was it but I ain't complainin. Lake still has a lot of growth to go as far as weeds and whatnot. Water temp was around 60. Tight Lines all!
