A wonderfull friendly place to take the kids fishing using power bait on the bottom with a 2 foot leader with a sliding sinker. Or some serios fishing at the narrows(skinnyest part of lake) use worm tipped with powerbait with or without garlic.Swimming for kids, a public boat launch area. This Place is great.I saw 50 or so fish come out of the water I caught 3 nice ones.Most fish 1 1/2 lbs and bigger . good luck out there.
