The night fishing for kokanee on Loon Lake is starting to heat up. I limited out last night near Granite Point using shoepeg corn, corn flavor salmon eggs, and maggots on a glow hook in 37 feety of water. All kokanee caught ran between 10-13 inches. I filleted them out and our family will barbeque them up and have them for dinner tonight. It should be a good meal. The depth/fish finder showed them clustered up in big schools. Once you locate them, it's game on!

Yay, thanks for the report!
I live in the Seattle area, but grew up in Spokane.
Will be staying at Granite Point early August and can't wait.
I'll probably only fish in the morning and afternoon and night though.

Thanks for the report also! Do you use a floating light at all?
