As of Monday roads to Goose are open, still some traces of snow on roads but as I write this sunny weather is making short work of remaining snow.

Lake has yet to be stocked for the year though after talking with FS ranger it should happen in the next few days. Goodbye peace and quite, hello crowds. There was lots of early activity on the lake over the past month as four-wheelers dragged boats in to catch the hold over's.

Camp Ground was not officially open and should be by the weekend. Roads are rough and slow going is required if you want to keep all of your teeth.

Peterson Prairie CampGround is open with the camp host in place. There is fresh water available at the information area across from Peterson campground.

Fishing with a flying ant pattern on the surface was very productive. Had a ten fish day with three nice keepers to take home for dinner. All of the trout had bellies full of flying ants so I guessed I matched the pattern.

Thanks for the report cycle, I was thinking about hitting Goose this weekend myself. Hopefully the forest service will re-groom the road there before long, it's definitely not fun to travel on when the road is full of ridges!
