I stayed at millersylvania for first time over weekend, so of course I had to fish there also! Sat. I fished from the shore and caught one that was about 1.5 lbs. on a black/blue senko. On Sunday took boat out and caught 6 more. All fish were on wacky senkos. The biggest fish was only about 2.5 lbs. All fish were shallow off reeds or pads. No fish off deep pads or wood, but I'm sure that changes daily. I saw small fry so maybe momma was out deep recovering from spawning.
The fish have been kickin my but lately, I can't believe how hard the fish can pull right now!
Weather was cool and cloudy' light mist, did'nt get water temp.

seriously - did you catch that fish on a WL.com spoon? (I always thought the blue/green was the most likely to catch a fish!)

That would be awesome, but it doesnt look like it. Cant see any line connected to the lure.

I just use the spoon to add a little color to the pics. I was in my boat for bigger fish- over by that other park/boat launch to the right.
