Well decided to fish silver lake once again, after a disappointing opening day, well me and my buddy caught a lot of trout but all under 11 inches, this lake last year was very good with lots of 2+ pounders, but this year i seen a hand full of 1+ pounders and the trout are just dinky from previous years, they did not stock this lake with same amount they usually do, it was stocked with 50,000 less trout then they stocked last year. I do think with George Henley passing away this year may bring this lake to a end for me and my buddies, if they don't start doing what there grandfather has been doing in the past years. And the catfish where are those catfish at? You used to be able to catch 100 a day no problem, now your lucky if you see 1 every other day. The bass fishing is still one of the best around though, but that's just because we got some really good fisherman that do a lot of catch and release which a lot more of us should practice doing on these beautiful bass.
