Went to the Seep lake because of fond fishing memories from the past however after walking into 8 lakes with a diversity of gear (worms, powerbait and lures) we did not even see a fish let alone get a nibble. Towards twilight an oldtimer and local guy told us that the state had poisoned the lakes that we targeted the year before. Don't know if that was true but there was no sign of even a minnow out there. Just wondering how can I fact check that information. And if true how does one find out when a lake ecosystem has been totally disrupted by poison before heading out for a day of fishing? I am new to this site so I have not actually checked to see if this information is available. Still had a good time though.
