Sunday morning was so nice I though I'd hold off hitting the lake until all the pleasure craft had gone for the day. That turned out to be a mistake as by 7pm the wind had picked up and the clouds were dropping a rain drop or two. I ran to the north side of Mercer to get out of the wind and trolled a flasher and hoochie combo. I managed to pick up a small 14" cutt that hit at 40' and one kokanee that took a Brad's Mini Cutplug at 55'. Water temps have rocketed up to 62 - 63 degrees and I didn't see any bait on the finder. By 9pm the wind had died down a bit and I made my way back to a nice, nearly empty launch. Was nice to get out in the evening for a couple of hours, will do it again once the weather stabalizes.
