I stayed up past my bedtime last night helping my son get the rollers positioned right on the trailer, which he has been painting, so that I go fishing today. I started fishing at 10 minutes to 7am. I was letting out my line to put it on the down rigger clip when I had my first fish. Just a little past the launch. Since it was right on top I thought it would a rainbow but it was a kokanee. I got my limit in 1 hour.
I did lose a few. One nice one at the boat. I had one double. So far it has been a good morning!
All but one fish were caught on Dick Nite Pink Splatter dodger with Wannafish A Lure Pink Ice. That one was on the Bahama Mama dodger with a Wannafish A Lure Bloody Mary. Bait was corn or Berkeley Gulp Maggots. The deepest part of the lake that I was in was 54 feet and my line was down between 10-22 feet, 20 - 28 pulls back.

Nice fat Kokes, WTG toni, you're still in the groove. Keep it up and thanks for sharing.

Those aren't fat. They are trim. 2 American Lake kokanee weigh what those 5 weigh but it saved me about $5 in gas and 40 minutes of time. The bite was fast and furious.
