Had trips on June 4th and 5th so consolidating the reports into 1 here.

June 4 - Beautiful day, bright skies, tons of pleasure boaters. Early in the morning we had great conditions, water temps in low 60's, but the fishing was very tough. alternated between reaction baits and plastics until the wind came up in the early afternoon, and that combined with pleasure boaters made finesse fishing docks nearly impossible. Fished from one end of the lake to the other and back again, End result no fish. :(

June 5 - I had donated a guide trip to the Skyline HS auction last year, and this was the day we set for our outing (Thanks Steve Geise!!!) Another beautiful day but this time more overcast conditions, should have been able to just light em' up! Took advantage of the calm morning to scout some shallow water areas. Ended up with 1 nice Largemouth and 1 average smallmouth; fish came from complete opposite ends of the lake, in less than 10 ft on plastic lizards t-rigged. For me personally, this lake is fishing about as tough as I've ever seen it. I'm sure some guys are out there just killin' it, but that has not been the case for any of the trips I've done this year on Sammamish, or when I've been out fun fishing on my own. I can't imagine what Postspawn is going to be like. Not alot of detail in these reports, sorry, wish I had more to report on but sometimes that's just the way it goes.

Hope to see you out on the water!
Dave

We went out Thursday afternoon, and got skunked as well. Only fished the northern part of the lake, in depths from 5- 20ft. Crankbaits, senkos, spinners, spinnerbaits. Had a few decent hits on the senkos, and a few small nibbles, but nothing that bit enough to set the hook, or maybe they were just not big enough- who knows.

Was decent weather at least, and it sure beats being stuck at work, fish or no fish.
