Tried this lake for the first time. Caught quite a few small (less than 1 pound) bass, 1 perch, and one 13inch rainbow trout. If you have a motor boat you would do even better. Try trolling with a small bronze Dick Night or a Henley Special fly on a 2 pound leader. Also, the bass love a silver popper fished at the edges of the lily pads. Try the far end of the lake at the inlet. Caught the one rainbow on chartreuse power eggs. Had another one on but lost it. Plenty of brown trout jumping so fly fishing would be advised. Overall, a superb lake. Too bad it closes on 31 October 2003. Please email me if you know of any other great lakes such as this one.
