Water temps already up to 65 degrees! Thought this was the recipe for success, but only managed one decent smallie and another not picture worthy. Saw lots of baitfish up in the shallows as well.

Those are Salmon smolt,the bass are probably gorging on them. I've had trouble getting them to bite when that's going on. Try swimbaits or smaller Rapalas in the appropriate colors.
