What a day on Meridian. The wind was blowin something fierce and it made fishing rough. Was going for trout but ended up with a mess of small kokanee. Fish off the dock using Gulp worms on the bottom. Hooked two 6" kokes in about 30 minutes but had to switch to tossing a spinner because wind was makin bottom fishing almost impossible. Tossed a wedding ring and picked up a three more small kokes. Also had lots of strikes with no hook up. Managed to hook a planter bow but it spit the hook right at the dock.

Was only a few other people and didnt see any other action going to speak of. Most fun came from casting with the big gusts of wind that came and sent my spinner sailing almost double my normal cast distance.
