Once again went down to the boathouse, thought about goin to a few other places but in the end didn't really want to drive all over. My girlfriend and i got there a lil after 6:30am and fished til 2pm. The perch where really finicky today, lots of bites & few solid hookups. The trout fishing though was pretty dang good (at least they where smackin the poop out of my bait as my slip bobber set up). We ended up with 8 trout between 10 to 12 inches and my girl got the big'un for the day with a nice 17 incher. We also got 6 perch (she got 1 to my 5), and i got a big bonus with a 15 inch kokanee on the ol' perch rig, who'd a thunk it! We both had quite a few fish come unbottoned near the surface. The only downside was most of the fish i saw caught today was ours, so i don't know if the others down there where doing wrong, maybe using too heavy of leader or what. Really good day & the surprise koke bumped it up from a 3 to a 4.
