Took my grandson on his first trip ever in a boat(he's five) we caught one fish after another and it was great! Went to both resorts and did well rented boat at Jacks resort first then next day went up to north end of the lake ( other resort..much nicer!) resort caught alot of fish off their bank as well.

Nice report those moments with your grandson will create memories for him...Did you catch any fish of any size? Last time I went there the fish were quite small...? Regardless sounds like a fun trip..

We only caught 11-13 inchers. However there was a derby going so I watched some of the weigh ins and there were several 1.5 to 3 lbs people brought in.
