Fished Tapps the 28th and 29th. Hard fishin both days. the small muskies are active and the bigger ones are working doing their jobs feeding on the suckers. Saw 3 different muskies near dike 3 chasing and feeding on suckers. Pretty cool. None of them were interested in preyin on my swim baits. Biggest fish was around 40 inches. So i moved over to Fairweather Cove, Actually found some weeds. A good 43" fish followed my bucktail to the boat. I ran out of boat trying to keep her interested in my offering. Went into a loop and she kept on going. Left there after an hour of frustrating fishing. Came back and saw 4 different fish patrolling the area. Figured I come back Sunday. Weather change, That mucked things up a bit. Had one p-o 'd smallie guarding a nest ram my bucktail. Hit the spot with the 4 fish the prior day. Had one 2 footer chase. That was it. Water temp was 59 degrees. With a few spots hitting 60. Shudda went today but finished the yard work and bar-b-que'd.
Put the Flag out this morning. For those who are serving, have served (myself) and those who have given up the ultimate price for our freedom. I salute you!
See ya on the Water, Todd
