So this is gonna be a multiple place report in one lake so it here it goes!

Log Boom park: Started with a shad color 5 inch senko, Nothing. Then saw a kid going for sunfish so i decided to do that, caught several sunfish, bullhead, trout, and perch. So then I moved to Magnuson.

Magnuson Park: Started in the north end of the Northshore activities area. I had one hit a few Russians there catching perch and bullheads. Then went to the boat launch nothing. Then moved to Ship canal (U. of W. area)

Arboretum (Very west side of the park, on the canal almost under the Montlake bridge)

Started with a spinner bait, nothing then went to a dropshot with a zoom lizard, nothing. Then switched to a dropshot nightcrawler, nothing. So switched to a Crawdad jig, After my 3rd cast. BOOM!!!! Brought up a BIG Smallmouth. She weighed in at about 4 pounds maybe a bit over 4. Then moved west after that.

Gasworks Park: threw out a garlic-green immatation crawdad nothing.

U of W. boat rentals: nothing

Fremont area: Nothing!

Species caught today:

Green sunfish
Cutthroat trout
Smallmouth bass
Freshwater sculpin
Yellow Perch
Pumpkin seed sunfish

Gear used: 6 foot 6 inch southbend reel and rod combo, and a Tournament reel 12 pound test line, Spinner bait, Senkos, nightcrawlers dropshot & lizard, Nightcrawlers and bobber & crankbait

You may have not had a tape measure,, but 2x4's don't lie either! Nice fish.
