So I headed out to Lake Washington at Gene Coulon with my friend. We started around 12p.m. and when we got there for about a few minutes not bite. We then came upon a school of perch. Most of them were small but there were some large ones. My friend pulled up a big one and when I got one it was even bigger!!! Then after that he had a few bites but no takers. Then at around 5p.m. we went out to the swimming area and there was a small school of smallies and my friend hooked up the first one on a crankbait and as he needed help to unhook the fish I left my senko on the bottom of the water and when i reeled it in, I felt it was a little tight. Then i set the hook and pulled up a 1.5lb-2lb bass!!! It was a great day.

If you don't mind me asking, where are good spots to fish around at Gene Coulon? I work literally 2-5 minutes away from there and fish usually in the mornings around 10am-12pm before work. Ive been on the little circle dock around the gazebo in the middle bottom fishing, but no luck ever.

I generally walk around everywhere. The perch was caught near the boat launch and smallie was caught in the swimming area.
