I launched my boat around 3pm dropped the bow mount and headed uplake pulling a Daiwa Dr. Minnow in firetiger behind 2 colors of leadcore on one rod and on the other(2 rod endorsement) I long lined a Cultiva Rip N Minnow in rainbow trout pattern.I had pretty steady action most of the time.Alot of the fish ended up spitting the lure when they came bolting out of the water.About 7 o clock I ditched the leadcore and put both lures out long lined.You really dont realize how many fish are in this lake until right before dark when they all come up on the top of the water smacking at bugs.Man fish everywhere.Floating or suspending jerkbaits are prime for this time of day.This year for some reason I am finding the lower half of the lake(boat launch end) to be better than the upper.I left before it got to dark to see with 5 fish 13-17 inches.
