WOW! Great day! Sorry I'm posting this report late. Hit the water about 7 am and headed to the northwest end. Fished the docks along the point and onward north. Water temp around 55, overcast in the mid to high 50s, no wind. Water was clear. Started pitching T-rigged chigger craws and tubes (watermelon) to the docks and landed my first bass of the year, 3 lb smallie! Continued on to catch 6 more along with a dozen or so rockbass. Three smallies were 3+ lbs, had a lot of fun! Bite slowed around lunchtime and I made my way home around 3pm. The green yamamoto tube was the HOT ticket, a nice slow drop turned em' on. Tight lines all, glad to finally get the skunk off the allison. BTW i posted the pics in the Not quite trophy bass thread.
