I got a tip from a fellow angler last year about this lake and followed up on it in earnst today, hitting the road at sunup put me on the water by 0830. I did a once around the lake edges and threw Dons Dandy Crappie jigs under floats and the spinner jigs looking for any signs of Crappie to no avail. I caught a decent cutt and got slapped around by them aplenty but threw them all back. I moved to deeper water hoping to graph any groups but darned if I could see any sign of Crappie life in this lake. A nice quaint trout lake, but think I will scratch this one off my list. Klahowya!
