I grew up fishin the rivers for salmon and winter steel, but the local rivers have pretty much crapped out. Now I bass fish a lot. I can't thank all the guys on here enough for tips how to catch them over the last couple years. I used to consider a "dink" to be 8 in. now a dink is any thing under 15. That was all I could get today though.
I arrived at about 6 and fish till 945. all fish were caught on robo worm in pic. I fished outside weed edge with cranks and the thick/shallow with jig'n'pig also. All fish were in about 3ft of water. I didn't get a water temp.
I broke off two due to braid to mono knot failing, I connect with albright knot but have been experimenting with number of wraps to minimize resistance through eyes. I saw one flopping around with hook still in him and he was about 12in so I wasn't as mad, but not sure on other one.
