So got out to log boom at about 1:45, it was cold and nasty so i was using everthing plastics, Nothing:( So i switch to a worm and so does my dad my dad drops it down and about 20 secs later my dad hooks into about a 12 oz smallmouth, it was ok so we keep fishing and i get about 4 stupid little perch and my dad gets some bottom feeder. It wasnt to good a day i was surprised we didnt get alot of bass because all those reports say the fishing was amazing!! My dad and i are going to go out on our 12' alluminum boat and go hit some docks for some bass!

wow, a smallmouth? really? i have never heard of anyone catching a smallmouth at log boom. the habitat is more suitable for largemouth and the smallmouth don't really seem to venture over there. interesting :D
